Sorin discovered his passion for carpentry while working with his father in their family’s small workshop. After moving to the UK in 2012 and working in the furniture industry for some well-known companies he met Dan, an experienced builder and fellow furniture craftsman. They soon decided to open their own workshop to fill a gap they saw in the market.
Boasting an in-depth understanding of the unique complexities of made-to-measure furniture, carpentry and joinery, Wood IQ furniture has since established itself as one of the most reliable bespoke furniture companies within Greater London, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Our approach is personal. Once we receive your enquiry, one of us – not a salesperson – will come to discuss your specific requirements and take the necessary measurements. From this free design consultation, we create full detailed drawings with various angles to help you visualise the final product, along with a no-obligation quotation.
Each of our products is then custom made at our workshop by our small but skilled team, who pay meticulous attention to detail.
